Programme of guidance improvements

Our view
The revision of HMRC guidance has been prompted by changes in legislation and the commercial landscape, which have rendered much of the existing guidance out of date. The guidance may be useful in helping the tax payer but it should be noted that it is often just one interpretation of the legislation and should not be seen as prescriptive.
