Aggregates levyThe rate of aggregate levy will be increased by just over 20% from £1.60
to £1.95 per tonne, except for registered operators in Northern Ireland who
will continue to pay only 20% of the full rate. The rate change will take
effect on 1 April 2008 for commercially exploited aggregate.
